Adin Wiley
Adin Wiley Rouze, 80, former Ames resident, died of cardiac failure Wednesday, Oct. 7, at Meadow Park Care Center, Prescott, Ariz. Services will be held 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 12, at the Prescott Valley United Methodist Church with the Rev. J. Lloyd Ewart and Rev. Milton Northdurft officiating. Burial will be held later in the Rouze family plot in the Nevada cemetery.
Adin Wiley Rouze was born June 2, 1907, in Calhoun County, to William L. and Margaret Swink-Rouze. When he retired in 1970, he moved to Prescott after 40 years as an Iowa State seed production foreman. He was active in the Prescott Valley United Methodist Church and the Prescott Valley Lions. He was also an honorary member of the Iowa Crop Improvement Association.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred of Prescott, a former 23-year employee of The Daily Tribune, one daughter, Carol of Bethesda, Md.; one granddaughter, one sister, Mae Eells of Knoxville, and one brother, Verle Rouze of Fort Worth, Texas.
