Heather Elizabeth Johnson
May 24, 1974, to August 17, 2001

Heather Johnson, 27, a native of Fairfield, CA, died Friday, August 17 in a plane accident in California.

She was born May 24, 1974 to Cynthia Johnson of Nevada and the late David Johnson of Placerville, CA. She was an English teacher at Chugiak High School in Eagle River, Alaska, coached speech, drama, and debate. She sang in the Anchorage Concert Chorus.

Survivors include her mother, Cynthia Johnson, Nevada; step-mother, Denise Johnson, Placerville, CA; grandparents Doris & Elden Johnson, Waterloo and Mary Jane Wells of Elkhart, IN; a sister, Stephanie Johnson of Cincinnati, OH; and a half-sister, Marjorie Johnson, Placerville, CA.

Her father, David Johnson, of Placerville CA., also died in the same plane accident.

Private family services will be held.

Memorials may be made out to the Heather Johnson Scholarship for Music and Drama at Nevada High School; the Chugiak High School Drama, Debate & Forensics in Eagle River, AK. or the Anchorage Concert Choir.

Arrangements were made by Green Valley Mortuary in Cameron Park, CA.
