INA WILMA ALLEN

Ina Wilma Allen, 81, of 305 21st St., Ames IA, formerly of Nevada IA, died Wednesday, July 12, 1988, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames IA. Death was due to a cerebral hemorrhage.

She was born May 6, 1907, at Riverton IA to Wilbur and Stella (Lee) Beam. She had been a resident of Ames the past 20 years.

Survivors include a son, Bill Allen of Ames; two daughters, Pat (Mrs. Loren) Britson of Roland IA and Anne (Mrs. John) Wakefield of Ames, eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parent; one sister; and her husband, Mac Allen, who died in 1966.

Mrs. Allen was a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa and taught school at Milford Township School in Story County IA. She later was purchasing agent for Ames Lab and Iowa State University.

She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church at Nevada, PEO and Eastern Star.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 15, from Central Presbyterian Church in Nevada at 11 a.m. with Rev. Brad Braley officiating. Burial will be in Nevada Cemetery, Nevada.
