Chad D. Hill

Chad DeWayne Hill, age 18, of Story City died Friday, Sept. 24, 1993 in Story City as a result of suicide. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 28 at 1 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church with Rev. Ray Hampton officiating. Burial was in Center Cemetery.

Chad Hill, the son of Vicki Matheason Grove and Ronald Hill, was born May 1, 1975 at Lakehurst, New Jersey. He lived in Story City for 12 years and was a student of Roland-Story Schools.

Immediate survivors include his mother, Vicki Grove of rural Story City; his father, Ronald Hill of Nevada, Iowa; his grandparents, Kenneth and Georgette Matheason of Story City, and Darwin and Dee Hill of Stanhope; a brother, Brad Hill of Story City; a half-brother, Kelly Grove of Story City; great grandparents, Ruth Gregg of Boone, and Jim Crosby of Phoenix, Arizona.
