MRS. IRENE WEST

Mrs. Alfred West of 1116 N. 2nd, Ames, passed away at the Mary Greeley Hospital on Friday morning of March 1, 1974. She reached the age of 64 years.

Irene was born on June 6, 1909 in Story County. She was united in marriage to Alfred West on September 20, 1928 at Nevada, Iowa. Four children were born to this union.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Gene, of Ankeny; three daughters, Mrs. Howard Kyle, Mrs. Albert Larson and Mrs. Richard Warren, all of Ames; nine grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Rosie Nelson of Oak Park Manor, Nevada; and a sister, Mrs. Thomas Johnson of Ames.
