OBITUARY

Joseph Sylvester was born in Lyster Sogn, Norway, January 14, 1860, and came to Buffalo county, Wisconsin, with his parents when only a small child. He lived there until he was twenty-one years of age, when he moved to Crookston, Minn., where he lived until he moved to Story City in the fall of 1918. He died July 2, 1922.

Besides his wife and one son and one daughter, he leaves to mourn his departure three brothers and three sisters, and numerous friends.
