Raymond Sunnes

Raymond James Sunnes, Story City, 63, died Saturday, Dec. 13, 1986 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.

Raymond was born in Hamilton County, April 15, 1923, to Sherman E. Sunnes and Anna Gabrielson. He was baptized and confirmed in the Elim Lutheran Church, Randall. On Nov. 24, 1946 he was united in marriage with Lillian J. Klockentager. He was employed at the Boone Dairy and his last employment was at the Memorial Union and ISU, Ames.

Services were held Tuesday, Dec. 16, at 1:30 p.m. from Bethel Lutheran Church, Story City. The Rev. Larry Tantow was in charge. Burial was at the Story City Municipal Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Lillian; three daughters, Janet Henrichs, Diane Miller and Linda Frederiksen, all of Story City; one son, Larry, Newton; two brothers, Serling, LeRoy, Minn.; and Marvin, Hawkeye, Minn.; one sister, Gladys Steward, Shiocton, Wis.; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant daughter, LaVerna.
