Alice Sevold

Alice Sevold, 78, Ames, Iowa died Monday, June 29, 1981 at the Mary Greeley Hospital, Ames.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 1 at 1 p.m. from Calvary United Methodist Church, Ames. The Rev. Donald Forbes was in charge. Burial was at the Story City Municipal Cemetery.

Alice was born November 19, 1910 in Story City, Iowa to Louise (Schultz) Knudson and Thomas Knudson. She attended the Story City schools and was graduated from high school in 1928. She married Clifford Sevold of Story City. He died in 1961.

She had been a resident of Ames for over 40 years and worked for Highway Commission for 28 years, retiring in 1976.

Survivors include two sisters, Irene Courtney, Ames and Duella Alber, Seattle, Washington; one nephew, Jack Courtney, Kithener, Canada.
