DEATH OF LLOYD SCHOLLMYER

Funeral services for Lloyd J. Schollmyer [sic], age 71, were held Friday afternoon, November 17, at 1:30 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home in Ames with the Rev. O. M. Seversike of the Bethesda Lutheran Church in charge. Burial was in the Story City cemetery.

Lloyd Schollmyer [sic], oldest son of Charles and Charlotte (Keller) Schollmyer [sic], was born October 1st, 1901, in Harrison Township, Boone County, Iowa and attended the schools in this vicinity. October 2, 1943 he was married to Mabel Tegland and they live in Ames where he was employed at Iowa State College until his retirement in 1965. He died suddenly while shoveling snow, Tuesday, November 14.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survive by his wife Mabel, two brothers Floyd of Lakewood, California and Jerome of Chicago, and three sisters, Miss Grace Schollmyer, Mrs. Amanda Anderson and Mrs. Leo (Ruth) Wisniewski of Chicago and several cousins in this locality.
