OBITUARY Ames Tribune July 13, 2004 Robert E LaVelle
Robert E LaVelle, 81, of Olympia Fields, Ill., died Saturday, July 10, at St. James Hospital in Olympia Fields. Robert was the beloved husband of Anne (nee Bosnak). He was the loving father of Richard (& Constance) LaVelle, Annette LaVelle and the late David LaVelle. Robert was also the cherished grandfather of Ryan, Matthew, Julianne, Caitlin, Timothy, John, Alexia, Lisa, Laura and Jan-Michael. He was a US Army veteran of World War II. He was a retired coporate vice president and member of the board of directors for International Harvester and President of I.H.C.C. He was a former member of the board of directors and past chairman of the Philanthropic Foundation of South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest. He was also a current partner of Medi-Bill, Inc. in Homewood, Ill. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 14, at Infant Jesus of Prague Church in Flossmoor, Ill. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today. Memorials may be made the Philanthropic Foundation at South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest, Ill.
