Judy Eileen Betts

Judy Eileen Betts, 42, died Saturday, March 19, 1983 at her home in Story City.

Judy was born June 26, 1940, at Scranton, Iowa. Her parents are Fern (Brown) Toyne and Glen Toyne. She was graduated from Coon Rapids High School in 1959. In 1963 she was married to Dwight Betts. They came to Story City in 1968.

Survivors include sons, Robert and David, at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Toyne of Coon Rapids, two brothers, Van Toyne, Council Bluffs and Victor Toyne, Coon Rapids, and one sister, Mrs. Ron (Jane) Carsrud, Bondurant.

Funeral services were held from Grace United Methodist Church. The Rev. Harley Carbaugh was in charge, assisted by Gary DeGeest. Barbara Doolittle served as organist and accompanied Pastor Rolfe Johnstad, the soloist.

Casket bearers were Greg Betts, Mike Betts, Alan O'Connell, Greg Stein, Gaylen Johnson and Loren Fleming.

Burial was at the Story City Municipal Cemetery.
