THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Wednesday, November 9, 2005.
Kimberley Sue Eucher, 45, of Ames, died at home suddenly Monday, Nov. 7. A memorial gathering of family and friends in celebration of Kim's life will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at Stevens Memorial Chapel in Ames.
She was born April 13, 1960, in Cedar Rapids to Susan Carrithers. She was a graduate of Ames High School and later obtained a construction engineering degree from Iowa State University. She held a variety of positions with many employers, among them the Iowa Department of Transportation.
She loved good friendships, travel (especially ocean cruises), camping, the outdoors, animals (especially her many pets over the years) and was an avid sports fan.
She will be missed dearly by those whose lives she touched with her personality, sense of humor and outgoing spirit.
She is survived by her husband, Eric; her father, James (Pat) Stephenson of Ames; one brother, David Stephenson of Iowa City; two sisters, Catherine Costas of Mountainview, Calif., and Marnie (Mark) Moore of Earlham; several uncles, aunts and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her mother; grandparents; and one uncle.
