Funeral Rites For Mrs. Anderson Set for Monday

Funeral rites for Mrs. J. T. Anderson, who died in Des Moines Wednesday evening, will be held on Monday with a service at the Hamilton Funeral chapel at Ninth and Des Moines street in Des Moines at 10 a.m. and services at Bergen Lutheran church, Roland, at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in the Roland cemetery.

Bessie Egeland was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nels Egeland, a pioneer family of just south of Roland. Living in that community the greater part of her life she was married to J. T. Anderson March 20, 1901. The family home was around Roland for many years, but about seven years ago they moved to Nevada and two years later to Des Moines where the home had since been.

She had always been active in her church work, being a member of the Bergen Lutheran church at Roland during her residence there. Moving to Nevada she did her part in Memorial Lutheran church here and after moving to Des Moines she became a member of and active in St. John's Lutheran church.

She leaves her husband, eight sons and daughters, they being Mrs. Irwin Grindem of Story City; Mrs. C. O. Meyer of Des Moines; Lester Anderson of Nevada; Mrs. L. C. Chambers of Des Moines; Mildred Anderson of Seattle, Wash.; Willard Anderson of New York and Marvin and Allan Anderson of Des Moines.

Besides these she leaves a number of grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Olena Onstein of Roland.
