THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Friday, November 4, 2005.

Mona Irene Dickerson, 84, of Bentonville, Ark., died Friday, Oct. 21, at Northwest Medical Center of Benton County.

She was born April 1, 1921, in Ames, to the late John C. Lee and Ida McHone Lee.

She was a member of Garden Prairie Church in Madrid.

She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Dickerson of the home; one daughter, Pat Roe and her husband, Larry, of Bella Vista, Ark.; and four grandchildren, Kurt Dickerson and his wife, Angie, of Phoenix, Denise Fowler and her husband, Brian, of Pleasant Hill, Tracy Roe and his wife, Tina, of Hampshire, Ill., and Tami Windel and her husband, Rick, of Centerton, Ark.. She also is survived by nine great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one son, Ronald; one daughter-in-law, Nancy; an infant daughter, Janet; two sisters; and two brothers.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, in Slater Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 320 N. Greenwood Ave., Fort Smith, AR 72901.

Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers, Ark.. is in charge of arrangements.
