OBITUARY
MYRON L. SWENSON
Myron Leroy Swenson, son of Ole Swenson, was born on a farm north of Story City June 4, 1899, and died at his home here Oct. 25, 1939, of pneumonia.
He has spent most of his life in Story City, following his trade of carpentry. He attended the Story City schools and was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran church.
He was married to Julia Enderson Sept. 10, 1925, by Rev. T. T. Heimarck. To this union were born three children, Ardis 10, Joyce 7 and Gerry 3.
He is survived by his sorrowing widow, his three children, his father Ole Swenson; two brothers, Lester of Roland and William of Maxwell; and five sisters, Mrs. John Ose and Mrs. Gifford Erickson of Story City, Mrs. Roy Oss of Duluth, Minn. and Mrs. Virgil Keeley and Mrs. Jack Walker of Des Moines, besides a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon in the home and Immanuel church, with Rev. Heimarck officiating. Lillian Alsager sang "Just As I Am" at the home, and the choir rendered an anthem, "Asleep in Jesus" at the church.
Interment was made at Fairview cemetery. The pallbearers were: Embert Munsen, Arvie Jacobson, Edgar and Alvan Ose, Orlin Enderson and Alvin Madson.
