Mabel Elvina Larson

Mabel Larson, 85, died Sunday, August 21, 1983 at Bethany Manor, Story City, where she had been a resident since August 1980.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 24 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Petri Lutheran Church. The Rev. Rolfe Johnstad will be in charge. Burial will be at the Story City Municipal Cemetery.

Survivors include one son, Herbert, Story City; one daughter, Mrs. Arlen (Ellen) Hougland, Story City; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; four sisters, Rose Swenson, Mrs. Ina Larson, Sylvina Swenson and Mrs. Herman (Dora) Hougland; all of Story City; three brothers, Hallie Swenson, Roland, Sherman Swenson, Story City, and Reuben of Jewell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Sherman, one sister and one brother.
