THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Saturday, October 29, 2005.

Frances Y. Morrow, 75, of Boone died at Home Wednesday, Oct. 26. Fran was born April 1, 1930, in Boone County and was the daughter of Harold and Beatrice Whalen. She was a lifelong resident of Boone and married Richard L. Morrow Feb. 13, 1949. She is survived by her husband, Richard, and their five children, Lisa, Susan, Carol, Daniel and John; grandchildren, Peter, Adam, and Logan; and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters Marilyn, Patricia and Karen. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, at the First United Methodist Church at Seventh and Arden streets in Boone. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Boone or the Israel Family Hospice House of Ames. Schroeder-Walter Funeral Home in Boone is in charge of the arrangements.
