THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Sunday, October 30, 2005.
Kathryn E. Reynoldson, 96, of Windmill Manor Nursing Home in Coralville, since January 2005, and formerly of Boone died Saturday, Oct. 29, at Windmill Manor Nursing Home in Coralville.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, in Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone.
Visitation will be Monday, Oct. 31, at Schroeder-Walter Funeral Home, Fifth and Story streets of Boone, with the family present to greet friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday morning at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the Amenity Hospice of Cedar Rapids.
Schroeder-Walter Funeral Home, Fifth and Story streets of Boone, is in charge of arrangements.

Kathryn E. Reynoldson, 96, of Windmill Manor Nursing Home in Coralville since January 2005, and formerly of Boone, died Saturday, Oct. 29, at Windmill Manor Nursing Home in Coralville. Graveside services and burial will be at 1:30 p.m. today in Linwood Park Cemetery of Boone, with the Rev. Dick Dahle officiating
Kathryn was born on Jan. 16, 1909 in Boone, the daughter of Henry and Ollie (Grabau) Michel. She attended school in Boone.
She married Glen Edward Reynoldson on Dec. 17, 1930. in Ogden. She was a homemaker. She lived in Boone most of her life.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, playing pitch and pinnacle card games.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Glen on June 6, 1992; one son, Kenneth Reynoldson; two brothers, Charles Michel and Henry Michel; and one sister, Elenora Good.
She is survived by oneson, Ed Reynoldson and his wife Sandy of Ames; two daughters, Karen Karn and her husband, Larry, of Coralville and Glenda Reinhardt and her husband, Chet, of Gering, Neb.; six grandchildren, Jamin Reynoldson and his wife, Jenny, of Ames, Joel Reynoldson of Ames, Kent Reynoldson and his wife, Chris, of Boone, Steve Reynoldson of Boone, Danielle Reinhardt of Columbus, Neb., Diane Pauley of Scottsbluff, Neb.; seven great-grandchildren, Kate Reynoldson, Niccole Reynoldson, Kelsey Reynoldson, Jacob Reynoldson, Estella Reynoldson, Luke Reynoldson and Allison Reynoldson; and one great-great-grandchild, Thomas Wenger.Memorials may be given to the Amenity Hospice of Cedar Rapids.
