MRS. T. K. THOMPSON IS LAID TO REST THIS AFTERNOON
Well Known Local Woman Died Monday Night After a Long Illness
The funeral of Mrs. T. K. Thompson is being held this afternoon in the Bethel church, Rev. Paulsrud officiating.
Death came to her release Monday at midnight, following an illness extending over a period of about half a year, during which time she had been bedfast, first in a Des Moines hospital and then at her home in the east part of town.
Mrs. Thompson was born December 20, 1866, on the old Charlson homestead, three miles west and one mile south of Roland. She had resided in Story City for the past 11 years.
Besides her husband she is survived by seven children, Mrs. Lillian Glaman of Jewell, Mrs. Ida Peterson of Bakersfield, Cal., Mrs. Josie Lund of Stanhope and Mrs. Mabel Sande, Bertha, Irving and Olive of Story City. Three brothers, John, Ole and Charles Charlson of Story City, and five grandchildren, also survive.
