MARTIN ANDERSON DIED LAST SATURDAY NIGHT

Martin Anderson died at his home in the north part of town last Saturday night and funeral services were held yesterday afternoon.

He was 77 years old, having been born in Sogn, Norway, Feb. 2, 1854. He came to this country as a young man and lived northwest of Rosendale for many years. In 1912 he and his family moved to Story City, which has been their home since.

He is survived by his wife and eight children, the latter being Mrs. Emil Larson of Waterman, Ill.; Bertha of Beloit, Iowa; Mrs. A. J. Anderson, Emil, Albert, Gladys and Katherine of Story City, and Hans of Stanhope. A sister in Norway also survives him.

The funeral yesterday was held in the Immanuel church, Rev. T. T. Heimarck officiating, and interment was made in the Fairview cemetery.
