THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Tuesday, October 25, 2005.

Mona Irene Dickerson, 84, of Bentonville, Ark., died Friday, Oct. 21, at Northwest Medical Center of Benton County. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, in Slater Cemetery.

She was born April 1, 1921, in Ames, to the late John C. Lee and Ida McHone Lee.

She was a member of Garden Prairie Church in Madrid, Iowa.

She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Dickerson of the home; one daughter, Pat Roe and her husband, Larry, of Bella Vista, Ark; four grandchildren, Kurt Dickerson and his wife, Angie, of Phoenix, Denise Fowler and her husband, Brian, of Pleasant Hill, Tracy Roe and his wife, Tina, of Hampshire, Ill., and Tami Windel and her husband, Rick, of Centerton, Ark. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one son, Ronald; her daughter-in-law, Nancy; an infant daughter, Janet; two sisters; and two brothers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 320 N. Greenwood Ave., Fort Smith, AR, 72901.

Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers, Ark., is in charge of arrangements.
