Death of Knute Tolbertson.

Knute K. Tolbertson was born in Story county twenty seven years ago and died at his home in Story City, Friday, Oct. 6. He was attacked by the disease diabetes about four months ago and though the best of medical skill was employed it was soon found that he was past all human help. Knute was a young man, upright and honest in his dealing, a willing worker and of a disposition that made everyone his friend. He was married to Martha Frette two years ago, one child being born to the union. It is a great sorrow to the young wife and she has the sympathy of the entire community. The funeral services were held at the Immanuel church Sunday, conducted by Rev. Heimarck. The church was filled to its utmost capacity with the numerous friends of the deceased. The body was interred in the cemetery at this place.

Mrs. H. Valen, Hannah Lund, Margaret Valen, Inga Knudson, Mrs. G. Wigen of Palo Alto Co., Mrs. L. Wigen of Baldwin, Wis. were those from out of town who attended the services.
