MRS. SIVERSON PASSED AWAY

The death of Mrs. Inger O. Siverson occurred at her home in the north part of town Friday morning, after an illness of several weeks.

The funeral was held in the Immanuel church Tuesday afternoon, and interment made at the Fairview cemetery.

OBITUARY

Mrs. Inger O. Siverson was born in Rugstvedt, Etne, Norway, Sept. 15, 1832, and died at her home in Story City Friday, Jan. 10, 1913, being thus a little over eighty years old.

In 1854 she was married to Osmund S. Siverson. To this union eight children were born, one boy and two girls having gone before her to the better land. In 1856 they came to America and settled on a farm near Cambridge, Story County. There her husband died 36 years ago.

About ten years ago Mrs. Siverson moved to Story City, where she has made her home ever since. Five children are left to mourn the loss of a loving mother. One daughter, Mrs. G. Lee, died four years ago; the other two children died in infancy. The surviving sons are John, George and Osmund Siverson of N. D., and the daughters are Mrs. M. O. Wigen of Laurens and Mrs. E. L. Severeide of this place, all of whom were present at the funeral except the two first mentioned.

Among those from out of town at the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. M. O. Wigen and daughter Ellen of Laurens, Sadie Wigen of Oskaloosa, Mrs. Marie Urdahl of Slater and daughter Mrs. Anfin Apland of Huxley, E. A. Severeide of Alsen, N. D., Alfred Severeide of Clarion, O. J. Severeide and wife of Huxley, Randie Severeide of Leeds, N. D., G. Lee and daughter Ida, Myrtle and Pearl of Estherville, Henry Ersland, Henry Osmundson and S. J. and John Severson of Cambridge, S. K. and T. Twedt of Huxley, S. Holland of Roland, Mr. and Mrs. Osmund Westre of Jewell and John Stenberg of Slater.
