OBITUARY

Ole Torrison was born in Skaanevik, Norway, in 1835, and died at the home of his son, Torris T. Olson, north of town, last Sunday, April 23. He was thus a little over 80 years of age.

He was married to Guri Larsdatter, who died in 1872, leaving him with five children. He immigrated to America in 1883 and settled near Lisbon, Ill. In 1899 he moved to Story City, where he has lived ever since with his oldest son.

Four children survive to mourn his death, namely, T. T. Olson of this place, Rasmus Olson of Haskell, Okla., Mrs. Olaf Anderson of Chicago, and Mrs. T. H. Thorson of Morris, Ill.

The funeral services were held in the St. Petri church yesterday, Rev. Solum officiating, and the remains were laid to rest in Fairview cemetery.
