OBITUARY

Mrs. Mary Gasaway was born in Filmore County, Minnesota, and passed away April 7th at her home in Gilbert at 3 a.m., being in her 62nd year.

Mrs. Gasaway was a good Christian woman, having joined the Episcopal church when quite young. She was married to R. J. Gasaway in Austin, Minn., in 1908. Since their marriage they have made their home in Gilbert.

She has been in poor health for a number of years. She realized that her days were numbered and that she would soon be called home to meet her Savior and be with her loved ones gone before. Her mind was clear up to just short time before the end came. She enjoyed the visits of all those who came to see her. She was especially blessed by her only sister coming to be with her.

She leaves to mourn her death her husband, a sister, Mrs. Emma Judd of McIntire, Iowa, and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held from the home Monday at 8:30. Rev. Heimarck officiating. The remains were taken to Spring Valley, Minn., and laid to rest by the side of her father and mother and one sister, who preceded her in death several years ago. Mr. Gasaway has the sympathy of his many friends in the community.
