Ingeborg Musland was born in Oskeldalen, Norway, March 25th, 1853, and emigrated to America at the age of 22, coming to Clinton county, Iowa.

She was married to John H. Musland in Story City Dec. 28, 1880, taking up their residence on their farm near Gilbert, where they lived continuously for 22 years, after which they took up their residence in Gilbert, remaining there for 8 years, and had now lived for 11 years in Story City.

Mrs. Musland was the mother of seven children, six daughters and one son, who all survive her, and who together with her husband mourn her taking away.

She was on a visit to a daughter at Dexter City, Ohio, when taken sick, was removed to the hospital at Marietta, Ohio, where she died following an operation, on August 1st, 1922.
