OBITUARIES

Torger Lein

Torger Lein was born at Lein, Norway, March 4, 1838, and died at his home in Story City May 14, 1919, at the age of 81 years, 1 month and 10 days. He had been in failing health for several years and his death came as culmination of a long life.

He and his family immigrated to America in 1881, coming direct to Story City and this has been their home ever since. Mrs. Lein preceded her husband to the better land a year ago, so there are left to mourn the death of a loved father the following children: Mrs. Grant Myers, Miss Bertha Lein, Mrs. Louise Leonard, Nels and Amond Lein.

The funeral services were held in the Immanuel church Monday, Rev. Heimarck officiating.
