THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Wednesday, October 12, 2005.

Wayne H. Erickson, 79, of Aledo, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, Oct. 8, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, at Messiah Lutheran Church in Aledo with the Rev. David Schweppe officiating. Burial will be in National Cemetery Rock Island Arsenal with military services conducted by Mercer County VFW Post No. 1571. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Fippinger Funeral Home in Aledo, where memorials may be left to the Messiah Lutheran Church.
