Miss Julis Johnson died last Sunday morning at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Johnson, five miles south east of Huxley. Miss Johnson's sickness dates back to last fall, nearly a year ago. During the last two months she has been steadily confined to her bed, slowly wasting away, a visitation of that dreadful malady, consumption. Deceased was born and reared in Polk county and was at the time of her death about 28 years old. Interment took place Thursday afternoon in the Palestine cemetery.
