Funeral Services At Slater on Monday For Sarah Thompson

Funeral services are to be held this afternoon (Monday), for Mrs. Severina (Sarah) Thompson, 85, of Slater, who died Friday in a Des Moines hospital. The services were scheduled in Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Slater with Riis Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Rev. W. A. Adix was to conduct the services.

A native of Slater, Mrs. Thompson is survived by a daughter, six sons, 28 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren. Her husband, Nels, died in 1928.

Also surviving is a half-brother, Severt Severtson. Her daughter is Mrs. Harold (Edna) Hanks of Kelley. Sons are Leonard, Huxley, Milford, Cambridge, James, Boone, Stanley and Myroon, Kelley, and Robert, Slater.
