Services Held for Mrs. Emma Elliott
Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Elliott were held at Riis Funeral Home on Friday afternoon at 2:30. Rev. W. A. Adix was in charge of the services. Lester Moor of Sheldahl was the soloist, singing "Heavenly Rest" and "How Great Thou Art." He was accompanied by Mrs. Oliver Newman at the organ.
Pallbearers were Lester Nelson, Phil Nelson, Wendell Mortvedt, Jay Kalsem, Homer Kalsem and Harold Ness.
Mrs. Elliott was born May 5, 1878 near Kelley to Mr. and Mrs. Lars Holland and died Aug. 18, 1970 at the Lutheran Home in Madrid after a long illness. She was the last of the nine Holland brothers and sisters.
She was married to Raleigh Elliott. They made their home for many years in Peoria, Ill., where he died in 1950.
Interment was in the Bethlehem Cemetery at Slater.
Survivors are a number of nieces and nephews.
