ANNA SEABOE
Mrs. Anna Seaboe, wife of T. J. Seaboe of Huxley, was born at Etne, Norway, on the first day of May, 1870, her parents being Rasmus and Carrie Holland. She grew to womanhood in the land of her birth and was educated in its schools. When her parents emigrated to America in 1900 she accompanied them here and with them landed at Madrid in the late spring of that year. After a residence there the family moved to near Randall, Iowa, where they lived and made their home after that.
Her marriage to Thomas J. Seaboe was solemnized on Nov. 30th, 1907, the event taking place at the home of her folks. They immediately took up their residence at Huxley where he had been living for some time, batching it. They continued to make that place their home till death claimed her in the evening of December 5, 1932, at an age of 62 years, 7 months and 5 days.
During these years they had lived very happy together in a beautiful, commodious home, which they built, now not a few years ago. On Sunday the 4th day precious to her death, they had celebrated their silver wedding anniversary and had invited a number of relatives and friends to enjoy the occasion with them, little dreaming that she was so soon to pass on, leaving her life companion alone.
Deceased was a very kind, thoughtful woman, with a big circle of friends who will hold her memory in kind remembrance. Besides her husband she is mourned by six brothers and two sisters and many other relatives, living at Boone, Randall, Radcliffe and other central Iowa points.
