Services in Slater For Max W. Mueller

Services for Max W. Mueller, 77, were held Saturday morning at the Riis Funeral Home at 10 o'clock.

Rev. Glen Drew, pastor of the Methodist Church, was in charge of the services. Mrs. Oliver Newman was the organist.

Pallbearers were Allen Mitchell, Gene Mitchell, Jr., Gerhardt Mueller, Warner Mueller, Maurice Mitchell and Dennis Mitchell.

Interment was in the Sheldahl Cemetery.

Obituary

Max William Mueller was born on July 9, 1890 in Felixhof, Pommern, Germany.

He came to America in 1921 where he worked as a salesman.

On Sept. 22, 1921 where he was united in marriage with his wife, Maria, who survives him. Also surviving are two daughters, Ingeborg (Mrs. Maurice Mitchell) of Slater and Erika (Mrs. Allen Judd) of Whittier, Calif., and two sons Warner Mueller of Slater and Gerhart Mueller of West Des Moines. Ten grandchildren also survive.
