OBITUARY

Death of Mrs. Innes

Telegraphic advice was received here Thursday by friends of Rev. and Mrs. J. W. Innes that Mrs. Innes had died that morning at their home at Monticello in this state, and that she would be buried Sunday at Reinbeck, where is the home of Mr. Innes' people. The news is a great shock to friends here of both and is received with very great regret. Mr. Innes was pastor of the Presbyterian church in this city from 1897 to 1899, and while he and his wife were here, they won the regard of many friends, with whom their relations have since continued. They removed from here to Monticello, where they have since resided, Mr. Innes being all this time pastor of the Presbyterian parish there. Mrs. Innes was Josephine Reynolds, and she was a Pennsylvania girl, not so very long married when they came here and now probably about 36 years of age. She leaves her husband and two sons, both born since the family removed to Monticello.
