THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Friday, August 26, 2005.

Ella Rose Conrad, 92, of Madrid died Wednesday, Aug. 24, at Madrid Home. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at Salem United Methodist Church of Christ in Alleman with the Rev. Barb Bullock officiating. Cremains will be buried following the memorial service in Lincoln Township Cemetery near Alleman.

She is survived by three sons, Jim (Phyllis) Conrad of Walla Walla, Wash., Clair (Mary) Conrad of Livingston, Texas, and Dennis Conrad of Elk Wash.; one sister, Arlene Raker of Madrid; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; and one nephew, Darrell (Myrna) Harmon of Slater.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney, in 1998; one sister, Irma Harmon; and two brothers Earl and Albert Mosebach.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 tonight at Soderstrum-Riis Funeral Home in Slater.

Memorials may be directed to Salem United Methodist Church of Christ and Madrid Home

Soderstrum-Riis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
