Services Held For W. T. Hopper Tues.

Funeral services for W. T. Hopper of Cambridge were held Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 2 p.m. at the Cooper Funeral Home in Maxwell with Rev. J. E. McClellan in charge. Burial was in the Center Grove Cemetery.

Services

The music for the services was furnished by Kermit Griffith and Madeline Summitt. Mrs. George Huser and Mrs. Glenn Larkin were in charge of the flowers. Casket bearers were Russell Johnson, Gayle Lee, Glen Larkin, George Huser, Orval Hitchcock and Raymond Hitchcock.

Obituary

William T. Hopper, son of Thomas Hopper and Clarrisy Barchy* was born June 22, 1890 at Humansville, Missouri and passed away Nov. 11, 1962 at the home of his daughter, Eva, in Minburn, where he had made his home.

He was married to Nellie Griffith July 14, 1909 and to this union two daughters were born.

In his early youth he joined the Baptist Church in Missouri, and was an active farmer in the Cambridge community.

Survivors

Surviving him are his wife Nellie, two daughters, Mrs. Eva Nichols of Minburn and Mrs. Ella Cox of Des Moines, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, also three brothers, Clyde of Pine River, Minnesota and Edgar and Harry of Des Moines.

*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: William Thomas Hopper was the son of Thomas Hugh Hopper and Clarissa Josephine (Bartshe) Hopper.
