Mrs. Rob't. Campbell Died at Home Here Wednesday Evening
Mrs. Robert J. Campbell, 46, died at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, at her home at 1116 K avenue, after an illness of some months duration.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 at the Nevada Church of Christ, with Rev. C. V. Pence in charge. Burial will be in the Nevada cemetery.
Born at Schuyler, Nebraska, July 5, 1892, she came to Nevada with her parents Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Frink, when a child of two years and this had been her home continuously since. Her maiden name was Ethel Frink.
Here she attended school and was married to Robert J. Campbell at the age of sixteen years. This was thirty years ago.
Of the ten children born to Mr. and Mrs. Campbell, eight are alive and with the husband an father survive her. They are Mrs. Harold Burdick, Robert Campbell, Jr., Mrs. Albert Gibbs, Donald Campbell, Jayne Campbell, Clyde Campbell, Esther Campbell and Virginia Campbell.
She also leaves four sisters, they being Mrs. Charles Hardesty of Chicago, Mrs. Dan Nickeson of Nevada, Mrs. Carrie Powell of Des Moines and Mrs. Bertha Brady of Hamilton, Kansas.
She had been ill for several months. For past three weeks her eldest son Robert Campbell, Jr., of Akron, Ohio, had been at her bedside constantly. She was also under the care of a trained nurse the past few days.
