Shirley Fawcett Kivlin Dies Mysteriously In Los Angeles, California
Mrs. Shirley Fawcett-Kivlin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred H. Fawcett of Phoenix, Ariz., died under mysterious circumstances at her home in Los Angeles, Calif., on Monday, Dec. 3.
Mrs. Kilvin, a private detective who specialized on Hollywoood cases, collaapsd while discussing a case with another private detective. An autopsy Tuesday did not disclose the cause of her sudden death.*
Mrs. Kivlin was born in Nevada, the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Fawcett. She attended the Nevada Public schools her first year of schooling. Her family moved to California the same year, where she finished her education after which she was employed by the Title Guarantee and Trust Co. in Los Angeles. She later entered the employ of a private detective agency.
She was divorced last year from Robert Kivlin of Los Angeles, winning the custody of their daughter, Cheryl.
Funeral arrangements have been completed for Saturday in Los Angeles.
Surviving besides her parents are her great uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Fawcett of Nevada, and the following uncles and aunts: Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Hanson of Nevada, Mr. and Mrs. G. R. Work of Chicago and Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Roberg of Denver, Colorado. Also surviving is her grandmother, Mrs. Brock of Los Angeles.
