George Heintz Dies At Work Wednesday; Services Saturday
George M. Heintz, 61, of 721 Seventh Street, Nevada died suddenly of a heart attack Wednesday evening at 10:20 p.m. in the Iowa State Highway Commission Office Building where he was a custodian.
Funeral services will be held from the St. Patrick's Catholic Church Saturday morning at 10 a.m. with the Rev. J. J. Brickley officiating. Burial will be in the St. James cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at the Ryan Funeral Home Thursday and Friday evenings at 8 p.m.
Heintz was born in Chenoa, Ill. to John and Mary Heintz, February 22, 1900. He was united in marriage to Edna Patricia Foley April 16, 1932 at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Ames. He was a World War I Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, a sister and a daughter in infancy.
Survivors are his wife, Edna P., two sons, James R. of Story City and Michael M. of Colo, a daughter, Patricia Anne at home; one grandson and one granddaughter; three brothers, Lew and Harold, both of Nevada and Fred of Colo; two sister, Mrs. Roy O'Donnell of Colo and Mrs. Ann Rea of Chicago, Ill.
