Robert Becvar Dies Sunday Morning; Services to be Tues.

Robert J. Becvar, 31, of Colo died Sunday County Hospital in Nevada. Cancer was the cause of death. Becvar had been in ill health since August, 1959.

Born in Colo in 1929, Becvar had been a lifetime resident there and had been engaged in farming. On August 15, 1948 he was married to Betty Lou Anderson.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. F. (Mike) Becvar of Colo; his wife, Betty and five children, Michael John 7, Paul Wesley 2, Marcia Kay 11, Lois Elaine 9 and Virginia Lou 5.

Also surviving are six sisters, Mrs. Joan Hartwig of Colo, Mrs. Ruth Harris of Norfolk, Va.; Mrs. Audrey Carlson of Freeport, Ill.; Mrs. Wilma Anderson of San Diego, Calif.; Miss Eileen Becvar of Colo; four brothers, Harold, Dwight, Stanley and Ronnie all of Colo and a number of aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held at the Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada Tuesday, May 10, at 2 p. m. Rev. Paul Hasel will officiate with burial in the Nevada cemetery. A memorial fund is being established.
