AARON E. HALE

Aaron E. Hale, 69, of 7209 Sunset Terrace in Windsor Heights, died of a heart attack Thursday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Westover Funeral Home with burial in Resthaven Cemetery.

Born in Rhodes, Mr. Hale lived in the Des Moines area for 25 years. He was the retired owner of Hale Implement and was a member of King David Masonic Lodge 407 and Elks Lodge 98.

Survivors include his wife, Gerda; a daughter, Lucretia Knowlton of Chicago, Ill; a son, Aaron T. of Houston, Texas; a brother, Milton of Collins; two sisters, Florence McDaniel of Des Moines and Mildred Meed of Minneapolis, Minn.; a step-daughter, Evelyn G. Libby of Des Moines and four grandchildren.
