THE AMES TRIBUNE, Ames, Story County, Iowa, Thursday, August 11, 2005.

Joseph Miller died of natural causes Sunday, July 31, in Durant, Okla. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 15, at Washington Chapel in Cedar Falls. Burial will be in a private service by the family at a later date.

Joseph Miller was born on Oct. 14, 1939, in Roland to George Edward Miller and Elizabeth Eloise Watts Miller.

He is survived by two daughters, Kathryn and Wendy; and two sisters, Jean Sodders of Nevada and Mary Beyer of Grimes.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, William "Bill" Earl Miller; and one sister, Doris Purvis.

Memorials may be sent to Jean Sodders of Nevada or Mary Beyer of Grimes.
