Elizabeth Moe

Mrs. Elizabeth Moe, 94, a former Randall resident, died Sunday morning at the North Grand Care Center, Ames, where she had been living since 1976.

She was born May 3, 1886 at Rosendale, west of Story City to parents John E. and Anna Tweed. On March 19, 1917, she married Peter Moe.

She is survived by her husband, a resident of North Grand Care Center; one son, Phillip, of Story City; one daughter, Mrs. Carl (Beatrice) Teig of Sun City, Ariz.; and ten grandchildren.

She was preceeded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Services will be held Saturday, May 24, at 1:30 p.m. at the Elim Lutheran Church, Randall. Pastor Donald Berg will officiate. Burial will follow at the Mt. Olive Cemetery, Randall.

The body will lie in state Friday evening till time of service at the Soderstrom-Larson Funeral Home, Story City.
