COUNTY CORRESPONDENCE

MCCALLSBURG
A Fatal Accident

A sad accident occurred here Wednesday afternoon, when W. H. Marshall of Zearing who ran an oil wagon for the Standard Oil Co., was so badly injured that he died later. In some way the horses became unmanageable and in trying to stop them Mr. Marshall was thrown under the wagon and the wheels passed over him. He was removed to Dr. Nordren's office and Dr. Hertz of Zearing called. It was found he was paralized and that his neck had been broken. Drs. Nordgren and Herta and W. H. Reid started with him for Nevada to take him to the Sanitarium when he got so much worse it was decided to take him home to Zearing where he died soon after arriving. He leaves a wife and daughter.
