DEATH OF MARTIN MUSCHICK
Well Known State Center Man Passed Away.
Martin Muschick, a well known resident of State Center, did at his home in that city Monday, a stroke of paralysis which he suffered on Saturday having caused his death. The funeral services are being held this afternoon.
Mr. Muschick was well known in the northeastern part of this county, having resided on a farm near St. Anthony for years until he retired and moved to State Center.
He was a native of Germany, having been born there Sept. 15, 1854. He leaves a wife and eight children. The children are Mrs. Burton Worrell and Miss Elsie Muschick of State Center; Clara, Fred, August, Henry and Mrs. William Muschick of St. Anthony, and Caroline, of Toledo. There are also four sisters and one brother, in the persons of Mrs. Caroline Cook, St. Anthony; Mesdames Anna Schubert and Mary Gulic [should be Gullick], Fort Madison; Mrs. Elizabeth Urban, of Kansas; and Christ Muschick, of St. Anthony.
