OBITUARY

ISABEL DENSMORE THOMAS

Isabell Densmore was born September 11, 1843 in North Georgetown, Ohio and entered into rest at her home in this city September 27, 1916 aged 73 years and 16 days. She was the last of a family of seven children. The father passed away in Ohio. She with her mother, brothers and sisters came to Iowa in 1867 and settled on a farm one and half miles south east of this city and this was her home until she was married to Calvin Thomas, February 28, 1880. To this union one son Will J. was born who resides north of this city and was with his mother when she passed away, his father having died about 12 years ago. The funeral is being held at her home in the southeast part of town this p. m. Rev. Fred Ross Shirck officiating. Interment in the Nevada Cemetery beside her husband.
