Brodie, Edna P.--Mrs. Edna P. Brodie, 71, of rural Nevada, died Monday evening at the Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames of heart complications. Born in Fernald to Charles and Anna French, she lived in Story County her entire life. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, John R. Brodie; two sons, Jerry J. and Steven C. Brodie of Nevada; daughter Mrs. Joyce Leonard of Grundy Center, Iowa; two brothers, Russell French of Des Moines and Glenn French of Nevada; two sisters, Mrs. Sylvia Holcomb and Mrs. Wilda Wolf of Lubbock, Tex., and six grandchildren.
