Bill David Christy, 68, of Nevada died of cancer Tuesday at home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Memorial Lutheran Church in Nevada, and burial will be in Roland Cemetery.

Mr. Christy was born in Nevada and returned ater living in Colo. He had farmed in the Colo and Nevada areas and was a member of the Lutheran Church, Columbia Masonic Lodge, Colo Co-op and Colo American Legion.

Surviving are his wife, Julia, three sons, David of Colo, Alan of Ames and John of Zearing; two daughters, Carolyn Kehrli of Colo and Ann Domgard of Lincoln, Neb; his mother, Jennie Christy of Story City; and 12 grandchildren.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. today at the church, where there will be a 7:30 p.m. prayer service and the family will greet friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Arrangements are being handled by Fredregill Funeral Home in Zearing.
