CHILD GETS POISON
Little Jean Wright Dies from Stricknine [sic]Jean Wright, the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Wright and aged less than a year and a half, died early Monday afternoon in consequence of having found and eaten a number of pills containing small quantities of stricknine [sic]. The child is supposed to have pulled the scarf off the dresser and so gotten hold of the pills; then she ate a number and afterwards went to sleep. Later Mrs. Wright found the child in convulsions and summoned physicians; but the poison had worked through the child's system and death soon followed. The accident is a most painful one and the deepest sympathy is felt for the bereaves family. The funeral will be conducted this afternoo
