OBITUARY

MRS. PETE HUFFMAN

Mrs. Pete Huffman passed away at her home near Shipley Wednesday morning and the funeral was conducted from the U. B. church in Shipley, Thursday afternoon and interment made in the Nevada cemetery. Rev. Miller of Des Moines conducted the services.

Priscilla Hozier [should be Hosier] was born seventy two years ago and has spent the greater part of her life near Shipley where she made many ward friends who sincerely mourn her passing. She was an estimable woman; a member of the U. B. church and liked by all who knew her. Her husband, Pete Huffman departed this life eleven years ago. Mrs. Huffman was the mother of twelve children eleven of whom survive her. They being Mrs. Jas. Robison [should be Robertson], Mrs. Carrie Emerson, Mrs. Hat Hennick, Mrs. Frank Ferguson, Mrs. Lily Cody, Mrs. Emma Ernest [should be Ernst], Mrs. Violet Shear [should be Shearer], Mrs. Elmer Taylor, Mrs. Anna Brown, Otto Huffman and Wesley Huffman.
